the spring roll

rinse out your blues
pink laces in shoes
were ones we’ll be twos
with nothing to lose

come dance with me lightly
unfurl your long hair
express those desires
that countless won’t dare

I’m younger than ever
you’re glowing with pride
our hearts ignite fireworks
exploding inside
